This effect targets just about everyone living with the disease. Yes, this inflammation is a symptom. However, treating the inflammation and disease is crucial for the sufferer and their family.

Pharmaceutical companies and doctors rely on heavy pain medication. These drain the life out of many users. Not to mention, wrecks havoc on the body, and can lead to long term addiction. Many disease sufferers are looking for healthy, safe, and natural solutions for their pain. Likewise, Cannabidiol is being used for this very reason by a mass amount of pain sufferers and we are here to tell you why. First, we want to inform you on what Cannabidiol is and why it should be taken into heavy consideration for the treatment of pain.

Cannabidiol, or CBD, is a major non-psychotomimetic compound of the Cannabis Sativa plant. It provides many benefits similar to that of Cannabis, but contains no THC. Therefore, CBD is completely legal in all 50 states. CBD has been shown to carry neuroprotective and neurogenic effects as well as anxiolytic effects in humans and animals. CBD is currently being used to treat many mental and autoimmune disorders and the current use of CBD as a pain treatment has been shown to be extremely promising. Likewise, Federal funded government research can display just that.

Research

In a federal funded study, which can be read more about here, the goal was to see how CBD affects inflammation of the pancreas and the pancreas before the onset of inflammation. Liquid CBD was given to female mice for the course of 10 weeks, five times a week. Each of the mice were not overweight and had type 1 diabetes.

The results were extremely impressive. Many of the mice showed a decrease in all symptoms regarding type 1 diabetes. CBD was also shown to target specific areas of the body that affect pancreas inflammation and the inflammation was either reduced, or never occurred in the first place. The mice were able to function at a much higher level and showed no signs of pain or weakness throughout the 10 weeks.

This study proves that Cannabidiol is a great, natural way to deal with the pain caused from type 1 diabetes and pain for many other debilitating diseases. Therefore, no one should have to be prescribed heavy pain medication that can drain the life out of the sufferer. Instead, this much healthier and safer route seems to be the best option while more studies are being conducted on its effects today.
